Peranan Media Pembelajaran dalam Kurikulum 2013

Peranan Media Pembelajaran Dalam Kurikulum 2013

Media berasal dari bahasa latin merupakan bentuk jamak dari “Medium” yang secara harfiah berarti “Perantara” atau “Pengantar” yaitu perantara atau pengantar sumber pesan dengan penerima pesan. Pembelajaran merupakan aktivitas dan proses yang sistematis yang terdiri dari beberapa komponen yaitu : guru, kurikulum, peserta didik, fasilitas dan administrasi. Masing-masing komponen tidak bersifat parsial (terpisah) atau berjalan sendiri-sendiri, tetapi harus berjalan secara teratur, saling bergantung, komplementer dan berkesinambungan. Komponen Standar Proses Pembelajaran adalah Pembelajaran dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode yang interaktif, inspiratif ,menyenangkan, kreatif, menantang dan memotivasi.
Kurikulum 2013 atau Pendidikan Berbasis Karakter adalah kurikulum baru yang dicetuskan oleh Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan RI untuk menggantikan Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan. Kurikulum 2013 merupakan sebuah kurikulum yang mengutamakan pemahaman, skill, dan pendidikan berkarakter, siswa dituntut untuk paham atas materi, aktif dalam berdiskusi dan presentasi serta memiliki sopan santun disiplin yang tinggi. Peranan media pembelajaran dalam kurikulum 2013 sangatlah penting, yang dimana media pembelajaran dapat digunakan untuk memotivasi peserta didik agar secara aktif dapat mengikuti pembelajaran dengan baik.
Hal yang perlu diperhatikan para guru  adalah mereka mampu menciptakan sebuah  metode pembelajaran yang dapat merancang siswa untuk termotivasi dan secara aktif dapat melakukan  interaksi  dengan berbagai sumber belajar .Melalui  penyediaan media dan metode pembelajaran yang tepat  siswa dapat aktif berinteraksi dengan sumber belajarnya. Para guru dituntut agar mampu menggunakan alat-alat atau media yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran, disamping itu guru mampu menggembangkan ketrampilan membuat media pembelajaran yang akan digunakannya apabila media tersebut belum tersedia di sekolah. Untuk itu guru yang profesional memerlukan pemahaman mengenai ilmu yang mendasari profesinya. Guru setidak-tidaknya memiliki pengetahuan tentang karakteristik anak didik, mengetahui teori belajar, rancangan pembelajaran, penyajian bahan ajar, penguasaan terhadap penggunaan media pembelajaran dan melakukan penilaian hasil belajar. 
Media pembelajaran memiliki nilai praktis dan fungsi yang besar bagi pelaksanaan pembelajaran. didik. Guru sadar bahwa tanpa bantuan media, maka bahan pelajaran sukar untuk dicerna dan dipahami oleh setiap anak didik, terutama bahan pelajaran yang rumit. Sebagai alat bantu, media mempunyai fungsi melicinkan jalan menuju tercapainya tujuan pengajaran. Hal ini dilandaskan dengan keyakinan bahwa proses belajar mengajar dengan bantuan media mempertinggi kegiatan belajar anak didik dalam tenggang waktu yang cukup lama. Itu berarti kegiatan belajar anak didik dengan bantuan media akan menghasilkan proses dan hasil belajar yang lebih baik daripada tanpa bantuan media. 
Peranan media akan terlihat jika guru pandai memanfaatkannya. Ketika fungsi-fungsi media pelajaran diaplikasikan ke dalam proses belajar mengajar maka akan terlihat peranannnya sebagai berikut :
1.  Media yang digunakan guru sebagai penjelas dari keterangan terhadap suatu bahan yang guru sampaikan.
2.  Media dapat memunculkan permasalahan untuk dikaji lebih lanjut dan dipecahkan oleh para siswa.
3. Media sebagai sumber belajar bagi siswa.
Selain itu, Kemp dan Dyaton (1985) misalnya, mengidentifikasi beberapa manfaat media dalam pembelajaran, yaitu:
  • Penyampaian materi pelajaran dapat diseragamkan.
  • Proses Pembelajaran Menjadi Lebih Jelas, Menarik, dan Interaktif.
  • Efisiensi dalam waktu dan tenaga.
  • Meningkatkan kualitas hasil belajar siswa.
  • Media memungkinkan proses belajar dapat dilakukan dimana saja dan kapan saja.
  • Media dapat menumbuhkan sikap positip siswa terhadap materi.
Dapat disimpulkan bahwa jika media pembelajaran dimanfaatkan secara optimal, kualitas belajar siswa akan meningkat sehingga akan menghasil output yang memuaskan. Selain prestasi akademik mereka akan mengalami peningkatan, diharapkan belajar yang berkualitas akan mengubah perilaku perserta didik

CONGRATULATING OTHERS



Congratulations is an expression of joy in the success or good fortune of another individual or it is the act of acknowledging that someone has an occasion for celebration.

Congratulating others is a useful expression to express and showing congratulations.
The expression is useful when you want to congratulate someone for particular occasion. 



Example of words that useful to congratulate someone :

1. Congratulations, !! You have done a good job..
2. Congrats for getting the first rank,
3. You deserve that trophy! I'm proud of you..

Or can be these words :
1. For something new :
- I'm so happy for you
- I'm thrilled for you

2. For birthday :
- Happy birthday, enjoy another, great year

3. For weddings :
- May you have a long and prosperous life together

4. For graduations :
- Congrats.. I know you've got a great future ahead of you

LESSON PLAN CURRICULUM 2013

In this occasion, i just would like to share the lesson plan that used in Indonesia based on curriculum 2013..

           A.  CORE COMPETENCE  (KI)

1.      Appreciating and practicing the devotion of their religion.
2.      Appreciating and practicing good behaviors (honesty, discipline, responsibility, care, good manner, curiosity, confidence, tolerance, intrinsic motivation, healthy life style, and environmental friendly) in social interaction effectively and naturally within the students’ communicative environment.
3.   Understanding, implementing, analyzing knowledge (factual, conceptual, procedural) based on their curiosity about knowledge, technology, art, culture, and humanities with human concept, nationality, and civilization insights related to the phenomena and real events, also applying the procedural knowledge in a specific area of study according to their talents and interests to solve the problem.
4.      Processing, reasoning and presenting various things in the concrete and abstract realm in accordance with the development of what they have learned in the school independently and be able to use the method according to the rules of science

3.1 Analyzing social function, text structure, and linguistics element in the phrase of talking about self according to the context of use.

4.2 Developing oral and written text to explain, ask, and respond talking about self regarding to the social function, the structure of the text, and linguistic elements that are correct and appropriate.

C. LEARNING PURPOSES
After studying this Chapter, students are expected to:
1.      Using English in communicating about congratulating others with their teachers and their friends.
2.      Showing polite behavior, care, and confidence in implementing the communication of identity exposure.
3.      Identify the social function, the structure of the text, and linguistic elements identity text presentation.
4.      Responding meaning of the text exposure identity in oral and written.
5.      Be able to understand the meaning of the text exposure identity in oral and written form.



D.  LEARNING MATERIALS

A.    Pre Reading Activity
The teacher will divide the class into some groups that one group consist of four students. Each member is given a number (from one to the maximum number in each group). Then the teacher call out one number in every group randomly to read the whole text in front of their friends while the others will get the text which some vocabularies are blanks, so they have to fill the blanks.


B.     Reading Activity
After all groups finished fill the blanks correctly, now they have to read the text carefully and answer the questions.

·         Teacher gives chance to students to ask questions about the whole text and teacher gives chance to read the whole text once again after all groups is finished to fill the blanks.
·         Facilitates and answers all of the students’ questions about the text.

Exploring

Students work in group to answer the questions related to the text. All members are taking a note about the discussion result.

Associating
The teacher called out the students (one by one) using a die to answer the questions, asks other students to correct if she or he makes mistakes in answering the questions, and gives the right answers if all of the students cannot answer the questions correctly.

Invite one of student as a volunteer to exposure his/her self identity in front of the class.

Post Activity

·         Students with teacher conclude the learning.
·         Teacher gives an assessment on their understanding (knowledge)
·         Students reflect on the activities that have been carried out.
·         The lesson is finished and closed by praying together and teacher say good bye to all students.
